MBSE First & second Year Apprenticeship Bursary

Apprentice Bursary Form

To assist MBSE apprentices with the financial burden of technical training, AMBA will issue a $750 bursary to eligible apprentices based on the following criteria:

  1. Apprentices must be employed by an AMBA member company and enrolled in either their first or second-year technical MBSE training at NAIT or SAIT. Applicants are eligible in both their first and second years.

  2. Sponsoring company must be an AMBA member company for a minimum 12 months to be eligible.

  3. Cheque will only be issued once the apprentice is in training.

Cheques will be made out in the apprentice’s name and mailed to their employer for distribution. Each member company is eligible for two (2) $750 bursaries, paid to employed apprentices, per calendar year. A new member company must be a member in good standing for 1-year before being eligible for this program. Existing member companies must be in good standing before bursary payments will be issued. Tax Implications: AMBA has made no consideration for tax implications. Tax implications will be the responsibility of the applicant.

Completed forms are to be sent to the Alberta Metal Building Association by the submission deadline specified on the Awards page each year for technical training completed in the current calendar year.
