AMBA 2026 AGM Recap

On April 15, 2026, members of the Alberta Metal Building Association gathered at NAIT in Edmonton for a successful and engaging Annual General Meeting. The event provided an excellent opportunity for members to connect, reflect on the past year, and look ahead to the continued growth and strength of Alberta’s metal building industry.

Attendees were pleased to hear from Mark Parsons, who delivered an insightful economic update, sharing perspectives on current market conditions and trends impacting Alberta and the construction sector. We also welcomed Ryan Hector from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, who provided an update on the MBSE program at NAIT.  We were pleased to also be joined by representatives from SAIT as well as the Government of Alberta Apprenticeship Delivery and Industry Support Services.

Following the meeting, members enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Ernest's, where conversations continued in a relaxed atmosphere. The evening was a great reminder of the value of coming together as an industry to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and support one another.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the 2026 AGM a successful event. We look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.
