AMBA 2025 golf tournament

AMBA’s 21st Golf tournament, in honour of John Weran, hosted at The Ranch Golf and Country Club in Acheson, was a huge success. We had a record number of golfers with most of the 18 holes sponsored and some very generous donations. Our fifty-fifty draw raised $745 funds for Metal Building System Erector bursaries and awards. Despite the intermittent rainy and cool weather, 82 golfers enjoyed a day filled with fun, laughter and comradery.

It was an honour to have John’s son, Rob Weran and his partner, Anne Bennett golf with us. Also in attendance was our industry partners: Nicole Mahoney and Ryan Hector from NAIT and Rob McCrea from AIT.

The AMBA Golf Trophy went to G8 Group: Congratulations to Mike McKeown, Doug Hawke, Kyle McKeown and Chris Stewart.
