Congratulations Andrew Hurley on receiving the AMBA Metal Building FIRST-YEAR Apprenticeship Bursary!
In 2020, Andrew graduated from high school in Lloydminster and was accepted to SAIT into the Diesel Equipment Technician program. Unfortunately, he found the online training and COVID regulations difficult to learn, so he returned to Lloydminster, unsure of his next steps.
In June of 2021, Andrew was excited to be given the opportunity to work on the ironworker crew with Bexson Construction.
“I had a lot to learn and recently completed my first-year apprentice training. I am excited and eager to continue learning. I am thankful for the opportunity and appreciate the bursary from AMBA.”
